Andrea Capezzuoli solo

An accordion … a voice.

Andrea Capezzuoli, a Milanese musician appreciated both in Italy and abroad, has been animating balfolk in a “solo” formation for more than 30 years.

An intense dance, full of energy, centered on traditional music from northern Italy (Piedmont, Lombardy, Emilia), France (Auvergne, Gascony, Brittany, Vendée) with a special interest in “pure” repetition.

During the evening, couple dances (waltzes, scottish, mazurkas, polkas), circle dances (circles, chapelloises, counterdances) and various balfolk standards are played (and sung).

It is possible to combine the concert with an atelier of dances from northern Italy (Piedmont, Italian Occitania) taught by an experienced teacher: curenta, sbrando, gigo, are some of the dances taught.
