Trad Plus Duo

Mattia Console: fiddle
Andrea Capezzuoli: accordions, vocals

Trad Plus Duo is the idea of two musicians from different backgrounds with a common passion for the authentic recreation of traditional music and dances, namely the repertoire commonly called “balfolk.”

Intense, energetic dancing consisting of couple dances (waltzes, scottish, mazurkas, polkas), circle dances (circles, chapelloises, country dances) and specific regional Italian and French repertoire (from saltarello to bourrées).

Mattia Console: classically trained violinist from the Marche region, he has been involved in traditional music of his homeland and the Italian and French dance repertoire for several years. He has played with his groups throughout Italy in festivals, reviews also collaborating with various musicians from the central Italian folk scene.

Andrea Capezzuoli: Milanese multifaceted musician present on the folk scene for over 30 years. With his bands he has played throughout Italy, Europe (France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Czech Republic, England, Switzerland) and America (Canada, Peru), participating in the most important folk festivals and music festivals. He has 17 recordings to his credit and a handbook of diatonic accordion.
